Welcome to my first Web site! This is my place on the Web to let you know what is going on with me. This is my very first attempt at creating a Web site. Wish me luck!
A Little About Me
I will start you off with a little background information about me. My name is Paige Farnum, I'm 22 years old and I'm currently a senior at Texas State University-San Marcos. I will be graduating in May with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Fashion Merchandising. As for what I will be doing after graduation, well, that is still a mystery to me. I've worked at a sports bar in South Austin called "Little Woodrow's" for two years now and I love it. I certainly don't plan on leaving Austin any time soon.
Now that you know the gist of me, let's get more into detail. I was born and raised in Austin, TX. Yes, I'm a native. We're a dime a dozen, but we do exist. Growing up, I was never into sports so my mother put me in cheerleading and dance. I enjoyed cheerleading but my heart was in dance. I continued dancing for 13 years and taught for two years after I graduated high school. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle when I was 19 and haven't danced (or taught dance) since.
Speaking of graduating, I took a year off after high school to figure out exactly what it was I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to be a nurse, I wanted to be a teacher and I wanted to pursue dance. I finally tossed all of those out and decided on public relations. I went to ACC for a year before transferring to Texas State. I moved to south Austin and decided to commute to San Marcos in an attempt to discipline myself and concentrate on school.
So, that leads us to the present day. Currently, I reside in central Austin with my boyfriend of two years, Cason. We have a one year old weimaraner, Trip, who is uber hyper. After I graduate in May, I plan on doing some internships and job shadows over the summer. I would also like to take advantage of the summer to enjoy myself and possibly travel before it becomes time to be a big girl.
